Knowledge mobilization: strategies, co-construction and social acceptability

On February 20th, SERENE-RISC hosted its first event on knowledge mobilization and translation in collaboration with the Université de Montréal Vice-Rectorate of Research, Discovery, Creation and Innovation. The event, “Knowledge mobilization: strategies, co-construction and social acceptability”, was sold out and attracted more than 40 knowledge mobilization professionals and academics from fields such as international law, mental health, cybersecurity, urban planning, and others. In addition to dynamic talks from experts such as university professors and knowledge mobilization experts, the participants were able to share their vision of knowledge mobilization and discuss the future of this discipline.

According to the event survey results, the participants were pleased by the quality of the talks, the interactivity of the sessions and the knowledge translation models that were shared, as well as the networking opportunities.

The Network was fortunate to count on the participation of the Dean of the Arts and Sciences Faculty, Mr. Frédéric Bouchard, who open the event with an inspiring speech on the importance of Knowledge Mobilization for the academic sector.

Thank you to all the participants and speakers for such a wonderful event. Special thanks to the Université de Montréal Vice-Rectorate for contributing to this special SERENE-RISC event.
