Ready to turn your cybersecurity research into a dynamic short film? We’re calling on graduate students across Canada to harness the power of storytelling—complete with characters, props, costumes, digital avatars, and special effects—to bring their cutting-edge research to life.

Why Participate?

Key Details

  • Deadline: Submit your 3-minute film by May 1, 2025 (00:00 UTC).
  • Eligibility: Open to graduate students (Master’s or PhD) at accredited Canadian institutions.
  • Judging Criteria: Clarity, creativity, scientific accuracy, narrative impact, and relevance to cybersecurity.
  • Format: Video (max 3 minutes), any language (English, French or Spanish subtitles are requred if it is not in one of these languages).

How to Enter

  1. Create: Develop a short film (max 3 minutes) around your cybersecurity research.
  2. Innovate: Utilize digital avatars, AI-generated effects, and storytelling techniques to enhance your film.
  3. Submit: Upload your film and send it via email to info@hc2p.ca before the deadline.
  4. Engage: Share your submission online and encourage cybersecurity awareness.
