Computer worms

Much like viruses, worms spread from one computer to another through a network or the Internet. The main difference between a worm and a virus is that a worm is autonomous and self-sufficient. This malware spreads automatically, without any human action, and will often seek to infect other computers on your network and people from your contact list.
