Review: the Cybersecurity Revolution 2020

More than 1,200 people attended the 3rd edition of Cybersecurity Revolution, which took place online on 20 May 2020. Co-organized by Serene-risc, this international event brings together researchers, organizations and cybersecurity enthusiasts for 24 hours of conferences.

Cybersecurity Revolution 2020 featured 26 speakers from different countries presenting their research on cybersecurity and cybercrime. Many topics were covered, such as psychology, Internet of things, romance fraud, cybersecurity awareness and virtual reality. As well as stimulating international cooperation and encouraging interactions between research groups, the Cybersecurity Revolution is an event that aims to increase the volume of accessible video content openly available online. More than six hours of lectures were recorded by the end of the day and are now available to all.

The event also highlighted the work of master's and post-doctoral students.

This 3rd edition of the Cybersecurity Revolution showed in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of virtual methods for international cooperation in the academic sector. The call for the next edition of Cybersecurity Revolution is now launched and information will be online soon.
