Description

Under the theme “Cybersecurity futures: Toward a healthy digital ecosystem”, the SERENE-RISC 2015 Spring Workshop aims to move beyond the usual catastrophic discourse on the impending breakdown of critical infrastructures provoked by malicious actors and state-sponsored attacks. Instead, we would like to frame the discussion around a more optimistic outlook trying to imagine what cybersecurity might look like ten years down the road if technologies, norms and policies align to produce a liberal, healthy and resilient digital ecosystem. What conditions need to be met to achieve this objective and what knowledge is needed to do so?

In addition to high quality presentations, the Workshop will also provide many networking opportunities to engage both with speakers and other participants.

This event should be of great interest to industry and government decision-makers and cybersecurity practitioners, as well as academics and graduate students interested in this field.
